As the Madill High School Class of 2024 prepares for the ending of their first semester, one standout senior, Hailey BreAnne Salmon, has made her mark during her eight years at Madill Schools.
Salmon, the daughter of Terri and Robbert Salmon and granddaughter of Gena and Randy Weldon, has a deep-rooted connection to the community. With no siblings, she has forged strong friendships and memories throughout her school years.
Active in the music program, Salmon has participated in band, honor band, and jazz band. She said her favorite memory shaped her into the person she is today.
'Myfavoritememoryfrom school is hanging out with my friends before band practice,' she shared, reflecting on the bonds she has created.
She recalled the pride of achieving ones in her 8th, 9th, and 11th grades in band.
Looking ahead, Salmon said she plans to pursue a degree in criminal justice, aiming to make a positive impact in her community.
She expressed her gratitued to her family and anybody else you helped her.
'Thank y’all so much for making me a better player and person,” she said, addressing her band directors. I couldn’t thank y’all enough for giving me an amazing experience these past few years.”
'Thank you for raising me the best that y’all could, and I love you guys so much,' she said to her parents.
Inspired by her family, she credited her mom and dad as her primary motivators in life.
