Madill hosts track meet

On Saturday, April 24, Madill hosted the Lake Country Conference track meet. Head Track Coach Cale Eidson said the team competed really well.

“High school girls were third and boys took fourth as a team,” Eidson said. “The kids ran well and competed hard. Conference is for bragging rights, and they showed up to earn some.”

The Madill Girls track results are:

The 4x100m relay with a time of 52.45 for second place. Relay runners were: Hannah Elkins, Molly Fulgham, Joslyn Stumblingbear, and Lala Flores.

The4x800m relay with a time of 10:54.96 for fifth place. Relay runners were: Korlee Cunningham-Martin, Esperanza Hernandez, Ryleigh Combs, and Isabel Sanchez .

The 100m Hurdles was Tarah Wiese, fifth place, time 19.83.200m Dash winner was Molly Fulgham, first place, time 27.72; Hannah Elkins, fifth place, 29.00; Mathali Ibarra 33.33.

The 3200m Run was Isabel Sanchez, second place, 12:48.38; Fernanda Hernandez, sixth place, 13:43.79

The 4x200m relay with a time of 1:51.04 for second place. Relay runners were: : Lala Flores, Hannah Elkins, Joslyn Stumblingbear, and Molly Fulgham. The 100m Dash winner was Lala Flores, first place, 13.62. The 300m Hurdles, Tarah Wiese, fourth place, 55.95. The 400m Dash,

Nathali Ibarra, ninth place, 1:11.95. The 1600m Run, Isabel Sanchez, 5:52.90

The 4x400m relay with a time of 4:18.87 for third place. Relay runners were: Molly Fulgham, Korlee Cunningham-Martin, Joslyn Stumblingbear, and Lala Flores. For the Shot Put, Mariana Mende placed seventh place with 31’11.50”. The High Jump, Korlee Cunningham Martin, third place, 4’10.03”.

Madill will host Class A Regionals on Friday, April 30 and 4A Regionals on Saturday, May 1. “Going into regionals we'll try to fine tune even more to be ready to make a bid at qualifying as many as we can for the state meet on May 8th at Catoosa,” said Eidson.
