Arianna Stepp is the daughter of Tanya and Brad Stepp and the sister of Jenna Stepp. She is a senior in Kingston high school and has been a Redskin for her entire school career.

Stepp is an active player in multiple sports, drawn to the competition. She participates in track, softball and powerlifting. Over her numerous years of playing sports, Stepp said she has learned how to maintainaccountability, how to effectively manage her time and how to be the best version of herself.

Stepp began playing her longest running sport–softball– when she was eight years old. In the years since, she has become a leader amongst her peers, helping the younger softball players to improve their skills and grow as players. The three words she said describe her as an athlete are, “hardworking,” “determined,” and “competitive.”

During the summer, she said she readies herself for the sporting season with simple, consistent exercise. In her experience, the most difficult part of sports is preparing properly and getting into the correct mindset to do the very best. She claimed her proudest achievement is that she has been selected to go to the state powerlifting competition every year since she joined.

She described herself as a kind person who isn’t afraid to be blunt and tell her team what they need to hear, not necessarily what they want to hear. She said she wants to tell them, “thanks, for being the best teammates ever.”

Stepp attributed a large part of her success to Coach Taylor as he has helped her grow in her ability and as a person. Anderson described Stepp as, “a very strong athlete that will help lead our team to great things this year.”

Stepp said her biggest fan has always been her mom, as she has supported every decision she has made and has always been there for her. She noted her favorite Kingston athlete to watch is Bri Harkins. In the future, she said she plans to go to a Cosmetologyschoolandlearn how to do lashes.
