Pursuit ends with trip to ICU

A rash decision landed a 42-year-old male from Newcastle in ICU on August 11. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that Edwin Dodd was driving a 2017 Kawasaki Motorcycle on Powell Road in Marshall County.

For some reason, he was running from law enforcement. At approximately 4:52 p.m., Dodd failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the highway and struck a tree.

Dodd was transported by AIR-EVAC to Plano Medical Center in Plano, Texas, and admitted in critical condition with head and trunk internal injuries.
