Four people, including two young children, are dead following an apparent murdersuicide incident. On February 2, 2021, Phillip Daniel Stephen Ross, a 31-year-old male from Sand Springs killed Anastacia (Staci) Lynn Smith, a 41-yearold female, River Gale Ross, a four-year-old, and Piper Ann Ross, a two-year-old.
Ross then turned the knife on himself and took his own life. Sand Springs Police Captain Todd Enzbrenner said all four died from sharp-force injuries and that they “are confident that Mr. Ross’ injuries were self-inflicted.”
Police said Piper and River’s bodies were found in the living room in close proximity to their father’s body. Smith’s body was found in a back bedroom.
