Born to Michelle Chapman and Raymond Shahan, with step-parents LaceyShahanandIanChapman, he said he comes from a blended family that provides him with love and support. His grandparents are Barbara and Larry Burns and he said they play a significant role in his life.

Cash Coble

Cash Coble is a 17-yearold student at Madill High School who is the son of Chad and Toby Coble. With his mother being a Madill High School graduate from the class of '92, Cash comes from a supportive and loving family. He is the younger brother of Case Coble, who graduatedfromMHSin2021. Coble has two sets of grandparents, Dan and Jamie Orr, both Madill graduates, and Jim and Joanne Coble of Marietta, who have always been there to cheer him on and offer their unwavering support.

Madill track does well

Madill Boys and Girls Track Teams had a nice showingattheWampusCat Invitational over the weekend. Both Wildcat teams had a couple of 1st place finishers. Yadira Barbosa came away with two 1st place finishes for the girls, taking both the 1600m and 3200m events. Jose Campos ran a 4:48.05 to win the 1600m boys event, Gilberto Grimaldo took 1st place in the Shot Put with a toss of 44 ft-1inch, and Triston Barnes finished 1st in the Pole Vault with a vault of 12 feet. Barnes was followed closely behind by Christian Robledo with an 11-foot vault, good enough for a 3rd place finish.

Perfect week for Redskins, including Madill marathon

Two vital district wins as well as a pair of triumphs over local rivals highlighted a perfect week for the Kingston Redskin baseball team heading down the stretch run of the season. Coach Daron Henson’s squad swept a pair of outings from Hugo, winning 7-0 and 9-5, before taking a 13-inning marathonoverMarshall CountyadversaryMadillbya 6-4 count.
