Madill wrestlers roll up Coalgate on Senior Night

The Madill High School wrestling team celebrated Senior Night in style on Monday with a dominant 6015 dual drubbing of Coalgate inside the Wildcat Den.

In junior high action the Wildcats also cruised to a 5413 decision over the visitors.

High School grapplers were slated to take part in the Ardmore Tournament this week with junior high headed to state in Oklahoma City this weekend.

Madillbuiltabig advantage in varsity competition on Monday by scoring eight forfeit wins as Braxton Gimenez, Layne Dorer, Damien Trejo, Brayden Valles, Moises Bautista, Yael Corona, Tyner Roberts and Brylon Gibson all were credited with weight class triumphs.

Dayton Gimenez posted at hard fought third period pin fall victory against Creek McCoy and Aroddy Camacho wastedlittletimeinrecording a first period fall over Timmy Starson of Coalgate.

Despite a limited number of girls matches, Madill picked up a nice victory from Janelle Mancillas, who pinned Checotah McCoy in the second stanza.

Junior high boys action saw Madill rack up nine forfeit wins as Coalgate had only three competitors. Adrian Colescott, Donavan Sinks, Ranger Willis, Alexandro Salas, Jayden Trevino, Jacob Castaneda, Karl King, Marcos Espinosa andDagoGonzalezeachwere credited with the victories.
