Unofficial election results provided by the Marshall County Election Board show today’s bond for Madill Public Schools has passed. The margin was 631 to 222 in favor of the proposition. Stated another way, 73.97 percent of voters voted yes on the measure with the remaining 26.03 percent voting no.

The election results do not include provisional ballots and are thus incomplete results, said LaRue Wilhite, Marshall County election board secretary.

Wilhite said the results will be certified on the morning of Friday, September 13.

Madill Public Schools released a statement late on the evening of Sept. 10.

“Although the results are still unofficial Madill Public Schools would like to thank the community and it’s people who came out in support of our school today. Thank you for supporting our kids and our future. We are blessed to be a part of something special. It’s a great day to be a Wildcat. Go ‘Cats,” the statement read.
