Girls v Atoka
The Lady Redskins are the # 2 seed in this year's Atoka Tournament, and they looked like it by taking the host Lady Wampus Cats, 63 to 33.
At the start of the game, freshman J aci Herndon, got her second start in the back court. She had a three-pointer and a field goal. Laney French was good for a three and a two-point field goal herself. Olivia Quapaw entered the game and immediately connected on a long range three. At the break, the Lady Redskins were up 13 to 12. In the second, the Lady Redskins made their move and took control of t he game. The three-pointers kept falling. French hit another one. Emily Bellettini popped out and hit from three-point range and had three buckets inside and was 2 of2 from the line. Quapaw added a field goal and going to the locker room the Lady Redskins led 29 to 16. Atoka could only ma nage a field goal and two free throws for a four-point quarter.
French came out looking for her shot and connected twice from three-point range. It was h er fourth of the contest. Raegan Davis h ad a bucket as did Herndon. Ethel Stewart got to the line and was 2 of 2. Bellettini had a free throw. When the third quarter was over , the Lady Red skins were up 42 to 27.
The girls from Atoka were winded and the Lady Redskins just kept running. The fourth quarter proved to be the best offensive output of the night. A 21-point onslaught, Quapaw had a three and two field goals, H erndon again had a three, Kamry Bohannon had a three. Ethel Stewart was good inside with three buckets. Davis, French and Bellettini each had field goals. Game over, 63 to 33.
Box score: French lead the team with 16 points, she was followed by Bellettini who had 14. Herndon was in double figures with 10. Stewart and Quapaw each had eight points, Davis had four points and Bohannon three. As a team, from the line, 5 of 14 for 35%.
Girls v Broken Bow
The Lady Redskins faced Broken Bow on Friday and hit with both barrels in the first quarter sailing to a win, 65 to 32.
In the first, the Lady Redskins came out with fire in their eyes. Tonight, it was a three-point barrage. Senior Raegan Davis, Olivia Quapaw, Jaci Herndon, Lanie French, and Kaya Wiebener all h ad three-pointers in the first. Quapaw and Wiebener each h ad two of them. That is seven t hree-pointers. Add to that two-point field goals by Quapaw and Davis. Emily Bellettini had a bucket. At the buzzer, 27 to 6, all Lady Redskins.
Second quarter action saw the three pointers cool off, but the two field goals were falling. Davis h ad three buckets ofher own. Herndon, French and Kamry Bohannon all scored. Herndon added a free throw. When the score reached 38 to 7, Rumer took his foot off the gas and pulled the press back. Going to the locker room, Lady Redskins had a 40 to 16 lead.
Th e third quarter went quickly, French and Bellet tini each had field goals and Bohannon added a free throw. Going to the fourth, it was now 45 to 20.
Bellettini caught on fire m the fourth. Sh e again popped out and hit a three pointer. She added three, two-point field goals, and a free throw. Davis again had a three-pointer as did Wiebener. Bohannon scored inside. Final score, 65 to 32.

Girls v Idabel
The Lady Redskins faced Idabel on January 22. This one started badly and went downhill from there. Idabel tookthevictorywith81 to 49.
In the first quarter, everyone was getting onto the score book. Olivia Quapaw had a bucket , as did Lanie French. Ethel Stewart had a field goal, Bellettini scored a goal. Kamry Bohannon had two points. As a team, 3 of6 from the free throw line. This was a glimpse into how the night would play out. Lady Redskins were trailing after one quarter , 16 to 11.
In th e second quarter, Raegan Davis, Quapaw, Jaci Herndon, Stewart, all had field goals. Bellettini had three field goals. From the free throw line, the team was 1 of 6. Trailing at the half, 44 to 26.
The third quarter, Quapaw had four points, Stewart again had a bucket, and Bohannon hit a three-pointer. That would be the only three-pointer for the team all night. Bellettini h ad a bucket inside. The score go ing into the fourth quarter was 63 to 37.
Stewart had a nice quarter in the fourth by scoring three field goals underneath. Davis and Herndon had bucket s. Bellettini h ad a field goal. The final score was 81 to 49, advantage Idabel. Box score: Bellettini was
