Two girls from the Madill High School wrestling team competed at the All-State Wrestling Dual on July 29. Madison Barrow and Madelyn Ritchie were the first girl wrestlers to achieve this feat. Barrow was a 2024 state qualifier, 2024 regional placer, two-time member of the 5A Distinguished Academic Achievement team, threetime Midwestern Conference placer, two-time NWCA Character and Leadership All-American Award honoree, NWCA Scholar All-American, three-time Best of the Arbuckles recipient, and Ardmoreite Athlete of the Week and her overall record is 1-34.
Ritchie is a 2025 State placer, two-time state qualifier, three-time regional placer, 2026 Region 6 Female Athlete of the Year, two-time member of the 5A Distinguished Academic Achievement, member of the First Girl’s Dual Team in Madill Wrestling program history, three-time Midwestern Conference runner-up, three-time NWCA Scholar All-American, four-time Best of the Arbuckles recipient and Ardmoreite Athlete of the Week.
