Isaiah Sullivan is a senior at Madill High School. His parents are Lacey Shahan, CraigSullivan,andRaymond Shahan. His siblings are Justin, Austin, Ryan, Bode Shahan, and Riley Sullivan. He moved to Madill in the seventh grade. Since then, he has played everything from football, track, baseball, and basketball.
Sullivan said his biggest challenge has been making good grades while also playing sports. However, he said he is grateful to all the coaches for helping to push himandnotgivinguponhim.
He also said his favorite memory from sports is when he and his brother Bode got the chance to play together on defense against Kinston in football. He also gives CT Fletcher the benefit of being his sport inspiration.
“Because you got to push to be the best.”
When it comes to his life inspirations, he said he is luckytohavetwostrongmale role models.
“Mydadandstepdadhave always pushed me to be my very best, but I’m also super thankful for my mother for putting up with me through school in her own unique way and pushing me to be my best.”
After high school, Sullivan plans to attend college and eventuallybecomeacommercial airline pilot. His advise to the younger classmen is, “Enjoy it while you can and just be yourself.”
