Marshall County Deputy Jacob Stafford starts our deputy spotlight. Deputy Stafford started serving Marshall County in 2018 by working in the detention center. Deputy Stafford transitioned into the Courthouse Deputy and worked his way to become a fulltime deputy with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputy Stafford enjoys spending time outdoors, whether that be hunting, fishing, or just hiking through nature. Deputy Stafford loves spending time with family when not at work or attending classes. When Deputy Stafford has time, he enjoys playing video games with friends.
Deputy Stafford said he loves the ever-changing landscape of being a deputy.
“My favorite part about serving Marshall County is getting up every day, putting on the uniform not knowing what the day will bring me, or whose life I could change, or who I could make a positive influence on,” Stafford said. “As well as the family and friends I have made along the way.”
Deputy Stafford is a valuable member of the team at the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office.
