First United Bank opens new location

The First United Bank in Kingston hosted a formal grand opening on Saturday November 6, 2021. The celebration included a jump house for kids, a prize drawing and some great give away gifts. There was also a BBQ grill loaded with hamburgers and a food table with all the fixings.

Eddie Ramirez took the time to give guests a grand tour of the new facility. The bank building has a entirely new look. The facade has a more finished rustic look, and the interior is spectacular.

A walk inside the new location reveals quite a bit of clear glass and a warm and welcome feel. In the lobby, a tech table anchors the area with an independent computer terminal, a welcome center with literature supporting their values and mission as well as healthy refreshments and snacks.

Around the corner toward the teller station is the local spotlight area for local retail/merchants to display their wares. This is available for any local business. A stroll down the corridor leads to the community center area, open to anyone for meetings and gatherings, equipped with all the technology needed for modern presentation.

The bank employees served guests a great Saturday lunch including fresh grilled hamburgers and all the fixings, and of course, there were chips and cookies. Many folks sat around at the tables visiting and enjoying the cookout. Some even took a moment to play a round of bean bag toss.

Many faces were familiar yet there were even a few newcomers. By the look of things, one could easily say that the grand opening was a success and most likely the new location will reflect the same.

Branch President Scott Uhlenhake said he wanted to invite the entire community to stop in and see what is new and experience the First United Bank way.
