Another impressive fall season continued last week fortheKingstoncrosscountry team with the Lady Redskins notching a runner-up team finish in the rugged Dickson Invitational Meet.
The Lady Redskins were only an overall 16 seconds behind first place Plainview while placing ahead of both Dickson and powerhouse Washington.
Daisy Avery posted a stellar performance of third place individually by crossing the line in a time of 12 minutes, 39.49 seconds.
Layla Thompson posted a 12th place effort of 13:57.09, Brinlee Roberts was 14th in 14:10.12, Addi Cole added a 15th at 14:17.10 and Avery Ludrick took 17th with a mark of 14:31.81. The final Kingston runner was Kizzie Wood, placing 39th at 18:16.38.
Kingston’s boys had four Top 50 individual finishers in the event led by sophomore Evrett Eason with a mark of 18 minutes, 33.37 seconds.
Dakota Tiger clocked in 21:02.47 for 33rd, Benjamin Maness was 40th in 22:48.35 and Chet Nix took 41st at 22:48.68.
In the junior high boys’ category, Shae Franks notched a mark of 10:59.00 for18thwithteammateFaith Brown just behind in 19th with an 11:00.78 time. Ella Reno ended 33rd at 12:22.70, Skylar Hatley contributed a 35th in 12:26.75, Taylon Aaron was 36th with a time of 12:30.96, Myleigh Canoe clocked a 12:47.77 for 41st and Raylee Meidinger added a 42nd place time of 12:51.39.
Kingston’s junior high boys had a pack of runners together as Brayden Hill took 24th at 14:09.71, Dayton Keesy checked in 26th in 14:14.10 while Kaulin McKinney wrapped up in 27th with a 14:14.20.
JaxxonPalmerended45th at 16:24.26, Haze Magby ended 49th with a mark of 16:39.71, Wyatt Hampton posted a 50th place finish in 16:40.24 while Chris Mariles was 52nd in 16:46.08.
