While weather played havoc with part of the meet, the Madill High School track team notched a handful strongoutingsagainstrugged competition in the Bristow Invitational last week. Leading the charge for the Wildcatswasthe3,200-meter relay tandem of Ryder Douglas, Blane Hawthorne, Jayden Barbosa and Alex Gonzalez as they took second in 8 minutes, 39.05 seconds. Madill was also eighth in the 800 relay with the squad of Justin Smith, Dayden Ramos, Jaxon Diaz and Aroddy Camacho clocking in at 1:33.45. Douglas also contributed a third place medal in the 800 meters with a time of 2:03.45 as Barbosa was sixth in the 3,200 meters in 10:58.91. On the girls’ side, sophomore Hadon Stuckey had an excellent showing in the pole vault, claiming third place by clearing nine feet even. Isabell Stuckey added eighth in the 100 hurdles in 18.39 seconds. The sprint relay grouping of Isabell Stuckey, Joshlynn Clayburn, Tillie Chapa and Hadon Stuckey clocked in sixth in 50.94 seconds with thesameunitplacingseventh in the 800 relay with a time of 1:48.31. Bothvarsitysquadswillbeon the road at the Pauls Valley
