The Texoma Fire Department would like to start by thanking the community for all the support they have given the TVFD Auxiliary in all the fundraisers this year and the support of the Volunteer Fire Department.
TFD would like to remind residents to please check on their elderly neighbors this holiday season. Some are home alone, and a warm smile and maybe a plate of Christmas dinner, or cookies, is a way to put a smile on their face. The art of giving is a blessing to anyone's heart.
The Ladies Auxiliary will be having their Christmas Party and Meeting on Monday December 16 at 11 a.m. For anybody who would like to participat,e please bring a finger food dish and a gift $20 and under for the gift exchange. All Auxiliary members are welcome to attend.
The Exercise/Stretching classesareeveryMondayand Wednesday at 10 a.m. Card games are on the second and fourth Tuesdays at 12 p.m. All Auxiliary members are welcome to join.
It is time time of the year for holiday gatherings. Anybody interested in renting the Texoma Community Center for a holiday party or event, please contact Judy Jefferies at 580-565-1400. Calls are monitored twice a week so please allow plenty of time for the event. The cost is $75 per day and can only be rented by members of the Fire District. The Building capacity is 158.
