We have had some cold weather this week. However, they are predicting our coldest weather so far this weekend.
Also, it's showing we have a 60% chance of snow. Please look out for your neighbors especially if they are elderly, and watch for kids playing in the snow.
Check your fireplaces, if there is any doubt, call a chimney sweep. Please no burning, even if it rains or snows.
Conditions are still very, very dry. We all know someone or heard of someone starting a little fire that got out of control.

Ladies, our next Auxiliary meeting will be Monday February 16 at 1 p.m. with fellowship at 1 p.m. prior to the meeting. Don't forget on March 7 the firefighters will have their Roadside Clean-Up beging at 8 a.m.
The first bake and rummage sale is also right around the corner on March 8 from 9 a.m. till 4 p.m. We sure hope to see you there.
The exercise/stretching classes are every Monday andWednesdayat10:00a.m. Card games are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 12:00 p.m.
For anyone needing to rent the Texoma Community Center building for a party or family gathering place contact Judy Jeffreys at 405-684-1636. Calls are monitored twice a week so please allow plenty of time for your event.
The cost is $75 per day and can only be rented by members of the Fire District. The building capacity is 158.
