Uncertainty circulates around President Biden’s campaign

President Joe Biden is facing scrutiny and critique after a few missteps during his campaign. It started during the presidential debate between Biden and Donald Trump.Viewersclaimedthat Biden stumbled on his words a few times and even slurred his words a few times.

Biden reacted to the critics and said that he “nearly fell asleep” during the debate. He attributedthesleepymoment to his extensive travel. He said he was exhausted from “going around the world a couple of times.” Sources close to Biden are reported as saying his optimal hours are between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Fresh on the heels of the need to lick his proverbial wounds from the critic hounds, Biden gaffes in an interview with WURD radio. Listeners said he spoke haltingly at points during his interview. Not only that, he stumbled on his words trying to speak about his political background. He said he was proud to have been “the first Black woman to serve with a Black president.”

Obviously, he was meaning that he was proud to be the vice president under the first Black president, but mixed up his words.

His latest one was when he was delivering a Fourth of July speech to the military. After Vice President Kamala Harris introduced him, he seemed confused and said “Ho Ho Ho, Happy Independence Day.” Then, while he was speaking about visiting the a military cemetery, he referred to Trump as a colleague.

'By the way, you know, I was in that World War One cemetery in France. The one that one of our colleagues, a former president didn't want to go...,' media reports quoted him as saying. Then, he trailed off and his voice lowered when continued, 'I probably shouldn't have said, anyway,' Biden added.

During the same incident, he mistakenly said traffic congestion was no longer an issue.

“One last thing, and I used tothinkwhenIwasasenator, there were always congestion on the highways,” Biden said in the speech.” There’s no congestion anymore. We go on the highway; there’s no congestion.”

Even though many are calling for Biden to pull from therace, heandhiscampaign said he is still running strong. Biden’s press secretary told reporters that “he’s a little slower than he used to be.”

It is reported that donors have publicly voiced concerns with Biden’s missteps and called them age-related problems. Abigail Disney of the Disney Dynasty said she will not donate another dime unless Biden bows out.

“I intend to stop any contributions to the party unless and until they replace Biden at the top of the ticket,” Disney told CNBC. “This is realism, notdisrespect.Biden is a good man and has served his country admirably, but the stakes are far too high. If Biden does not step down the Democrats will lose. Of that I am absolutely certain. The consequences for the loss will be genuinely dire.”

Netflix co-founder Reed HastingisalsoamajorDemocratic donor. He urged Biden to step out of the campaign to allow the Democratic party to “beat Trump.”

Recently, media officials wererampanttofindoutwhy Parkinson’s disease specialist Dr.KevinCannardvisited Biden at the White House. In a“screamingmatch”between press secretary Pierre and the media, she tried to ease the fears by telling the media that Cannard was only there to give Biden a physical, not for any neurological issues.

Biden released a letter on Monday telling supporters that he will not drop from his reelection candidacy.

“Now that you have returned from the July 4th recess, I want you to know that despite all the speculation in the press and elsewhere, I am firmly committed to staying in this race, to running this race to the end, and to beating Donald Trump,” Biden said in the letter. “I can respond to all this by saying clearly and unequivocally: I wouldn't be running again if I did not absolutely believe I was the best person to beat Donald Trump in 2024.”
