A couple from Madill was killed in a wreck June 2. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Terry Ashby, a 53-year-old male from Madill was driving a 2018 Chevy Equinox one mile west of Gene Autry in Carter County when the wreck occurred.
Terry and his passenger, Virgina Ashby, a 54-yearold female from Madill both expired at the scene. Many family and friends took to Facebook to voice just how much the couple meant to them, and offer their condolences to the family.
One poster wrote about how Terry was her mentor and how much she appreciated his love. Other people wrote about just how the couple touched their lives.
Terry was also very big into his Choctaw heritage. Many friends and family wrote about his love for his heritage.
