Sharon Henry 80, of Fobb, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at the Brookside Nursing Center in Madill. She was born on October 27, 1939 in Pheonix, Arizona to the late Leonard Holmes Young and Pearl Clara Wallace Young. Sharon was raised in Fobb where she started school and later graduated from North Pheonix High School in Arizona.

Sharon married James Lawrence Henry on November 26, 1957 in Madill and he preceded her in death on January 1, 2019. She was a homemaker, a farmer’s wife, and she worked 38 years with the Kingston Public Schools.

Sharon was a dedicated Kingston Redskin fan and influenced many students during her school career. Her family was her world and shew was the life of the party. Not only did she raise her own children but also welcomed her sister into her home for 3 years. Sharon loved to travel with Lawrence and friends and watching her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren in their activities. She loved her dog Annie and watching hummingbirds. Sharon always said she wanted to be a “memory maker.”

Sharon is survived by her children; Lonny Henry and wife Joy of Decatur, Texas, Robby Henry and wife Vicky of Fobb, Oklahoma, grandchildren; John Robert Henry and wife Terri, Suzie Ellis and husband Terry Lan Sparlin, B. J. Lucy and husband Anthony, T.J. Herndon and husband Kelly, great grandchildren; Taylor, Jewell, and Alyssa Henry, Sadie and Aaron Ellis, Ty and Logan Rushing, Jaci Jo Lucy, Sophia and Sam Sedeh, sisters; Peggy Page and husband Bruce, Loretta Koerber and husband. As well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was Friday, January 10, 2020 from 10:00am to 9:00 p.m. with a family hour from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma. Services were Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 10:00 a.m at the Watts Memorial Chapel, Madill, Okla. Chris Webb officiated the service. Interment was at the Willis Cemetery, Willis, Okla.
