Madill Band Has a Very Successful 1st Contest

  • The Madill Band won 1st place in Parade Competition in Class 4A, 3rd place in Field Competition, Outstanding Drumline, and multiple other awards.
    The Madill Band won 1st place in Parade Competition in Class 4A, 3rd place in Field Competition, Outstanding Drumline, and multiple other awards.

The Madill Band had their first competition of the year this past Saturday. They competed in the Pauls Valley Marching Championships and placed very well. The Madill Band earned the following awards:1st Place in Parade Competition in Class 4A, 3rd Place in Field Competition in Class 4A, Outstanding Drumline in both Parade and Field Competition in Class 4A, 4A Sweepstakes Award (Most Points in Parade and Field Competition in Class 4A. The Madill Band competes again this Saturday at the Chickasaw Festival Band Extravaganza in Tishomingo.
