59th Annual Zelma Bazaar at Madill First United Methodist Church is Nov. 7

“Christmas on the Farm” is the theme of the 59th Annual Zelma Bazaar at the Madill First United Methodist Church on November 7, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at 301 West Taliaferro and Third Street.

The day will begin with booths opening immediately following a prayer at 7:00 a.m. A breakfast bar will be available from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with a donation to the Bazaar. The breakfast bar will include breads, finger foods, fruit, orange juice and coffee.

The year’s bazaar will feature booths which will include baked goods, Christmas, frozen foods, pillows, stitchery, woodworking and Christmas wreaths. Personalized Christmas ornaments will be sold during the day.

A baked potato luncheon will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The lunch will include a baked potato with all the trimmings including cheese, sour cream, chili, onion, broccoli cheese, bacon, ham, salad, sake, coffee and tea for $7.00. Take-outs will be available by calling (580) 795-3568 or our church office at (580) 795-3732. Carry-outs can be picked up at the west door of the education building at the church.

A turkey dinner will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The menu will include turkey, dressing, gravy, green beans, sweet potatoes, cranberry salad, rolls, pumpkin or pecan pie, and a drink. The price for the turkey dinner is $10 for adults and $5 for children eight and under. Tickets can be bought at the church office from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Money through Friday during the week.

Proceeds will go to support local, state, national and international mission projects. Local mission projects include Relay for Lice, Bread of Life, Hope for Marshall County and Santa’s Elves.
