On Tuesday, January 18, Madill hosted the Roft"Tigers. The Lady Wildcats got the action started with junior Aubrie Cantrell being fouled and adding two free throws to the scoreboard. Senior Jayden Weiberg added two more points. The Lady Tigers were fouled and put one point on the board. Weiberg was fouled and made both free throws. Senior Braylee Schneider added two points for Madill. Rofl"would answer back with five points to end the first quarter. The Lady Wildcats led 8 to 6.

Senior Abbie Lambertsen made a two-point jump shot to start off the second quarter. Roff added two more points. Sophomore Allison Knight shot for two more points. The Lady Tigers were fouled and made two free throws. In the last two minutes ofthe second half, Roff added eight points back -to-hack. Lambertsen was fouled with 18 seconds left and made one free throw. The Lady Tigers led 18 to 13 leaving the second quarter.

With 11 seconds shaved off the clock for the third quarter, Schneider made a two-point jump shot. The Lady Tigers clapped back with a three-pointer. Weiberg was fouled and added two free throws. Roff added two more points. Schneider added another two-point jump shot and was fouled adding a free throw.

The Lady Wildcats decreased the gap 23 to 20. Roff was fouled and added a free throw point. Knight shot for a two-point jump shot. Roff answered back with a two-point jump shot. Under a minute to go, Weiberg swished a three-pointer. The Lady Wildcats trailed by one, 26 to 25, to end the quarter. Head Coach Shawn Runyan even though it took the girls a little bit to get going, they were playing hard.

"It took us a little bit to get going on offense, but we came together there at the end when we needed too," Runyan said. "It's hard to get in a rhythm when we are off three weeks, then come back to play one game, then off three to four days then play one."

Less than a minute into the fourth quarter, Weiberg was fouled and made both free throws. Rofr answered back with two-point jump shot. Madill took the lead, 29 to 28, with Weiberg's twopoint jump shot.

Sophomore Hannah Elkins got a two-point jump shot. Weiberg added two more points as the Lady Wildcats started to pull away from the Lady Tigers. Knight was fouled and madeher free throw sealing a win for the Lady Wildcats, 39 to 31.

The Wildcats took the court next to the Tigers who are ranked #1 in Class B by OSSAA. Senior Ezekiel Fuentes swished a three-pointer with a minute shaved off the clock. The Tigers were fouled and made two free throws.

Fuentes answered back by swishing another threepointer. Roffwas fouled and made one free throw. Senior Nick Northcutt was fouled and made two free throws. Roff added two more points.

Northcutt got a two-point jump shot. Roff added another two points. Junior Stephen Sisco swished a three-pointer. Fuentes was fouled and added one free throw to end the first quarter. The Wildcats led 14 to 7.

The Tigers came with their claws out to start the second quarter, adding five points within the first few minutes. Junior River Shaw got a two-point jump shot and a foul, adding a free throw point. The Tigers were fouled and added two free throws. The Tigers added another two points to close out the first half with the Wildcats leading 17 to 16.
