Madill Wildcat Baseball season is here. The Wildcats got off to a nice start over the weekend with two victories to break the seal on the new campaign. Madill opened with a win over Callisburg Varsity, 7-3. They followed that up with an 11-8 win over Bonham to start the season 2-0. That undefeated streak didn’t last long, though, because Sulphur came calling. Sulphur topped the Wildcats 7-1 on Monday night in the first Lake Country district game. Madill scored first but couldn’t contain the Bulldogs in the middle and late innings and fell to Sulphur (3-1 overall) and the Wildcats start Lake Country play with a defeat and an 0-1 record. Up next is another shot at SulphuronTuesdayevening.
