Madill had one state runner- upandKingstonnotched a pair in the Oklahoma High School Girls State Powerlifting Meet held last week in Durant.
Hannah Rios was the Lady Wildcat runner-up in the 181-pound division as she amassed a total of 825 pounds, which included 350 in squat, 175 on bench and 300 in deadlift.
For Kingston, Coby Davis was one of the second place medalist in the small school 132-pound category by totaling 735 pounds. She had 275 in squat, 135 on bench and notched the top deadlift in her division with 325 pounds.
Carli Lilley also was a Lady Redskin state runnerup at 155 pounds with a combination of 770 pounds lifted. She tallied 305 in squat, 135 on bench and 330 in deadlift.
Other local placers included Kingston’s Bailey Reagan, who posted a seventh in the 123 category by totaling 620 pounds (215 squat, 105 bench, 300 deadlift). The deadlift tally was the best in her weight division.
Madill’s Angie Mendiola checked in 10th in the heavyweight division by tallying 760 total pounds (300 squat, 140 bench, 320 deadlift) and Kingston’s Rae-An Best also claimed 10th at 132 pounds while amassing a three-lift mark of 590 (255 squat, 100 bench, 235 deadlift).
