November 2, 2019 was a day no parent wants to endure. Presley Mitchell, an 11-year-old softball player was running toward the dug out and collapsed. Unfortunately, she never woke up, and was pronounced dead a short time later.

Her family now hosts an annual softball tournament to keep Presley’s memory alive and her love of the game.

It was held on November 7 at the Texoma Health Foundation Park in Denison, Texas.

Over 40 teams spanning several age divisions showed up to compete and show support for the 11-year-old’s memory.

The tournament also had music provided by the Casey Daniels band, and a silent auction .

The items that were up for bid were Baby Bliss Items, a Pellet Grill, Folk Yard Ornaments, jewelry, a leather lift recliner, a fabric recliner, a paddle board, tumblers, a customized Jean jacket, and an Air Fryer.
