The Cross-Country high school teams traveled to Stillwater for the Oklahoma State Cowboy Jamboree on September 18. Head Coach Cale Eidson said the Jamboree did not have many small teams.

“It was mostly larger schools at the Jamboree, with us being one of the smaller teams on the field,” Eidson said.

There was close to forty teams in each race, both boys and girls. The high school girls took twenty second overall with the teams’ top runner, senior Isabel Sanchez taking forty sixth (22:19.70). Other runners included: freshman Yvette Ariciaga (24:43.70); sophomore Korlee Cunningham-Martin (25:42.40); senior Joslyn Stumblingbear (25:50.20); senior Carol Moreno (25:50.80); sophomore Esperanza Hernandez (26:17.20); senior Nathali Ibarra (26:39.40); freshman Kaia Henry (26:48.10); junior Mercedes Stumblingbear (27:18.70); senior Jaslyn Grimaldo (27:58.60); freshman Codie Shaw (29:02.60); Junior Camila Hernandez (29:09.00).
