The Madill track team traveled to Catoosa for the 4A State Track Meet on Saturday, May 8, 2021. The participants for the girls were:
Molly Fulgham placed seventh in the 200 meter dash with a time of 27.97.
Isabel Sanchez ran the 1600 meter in 5:58.01. She also placed seventh in the 3200 meter run with a time of 12:50:53.
Hannah Elkins, Molly Fulgham, Joslyn Stumblingbear and Lala Flores ran the 4x100 meter relay in 52.61. They also ran the 4x200 relay in 1:52:22.
Molly Fulgham, Korlee Cunningham-Martin, Joslyn Stumblingbear and Lala Flores ran the 4x400 meter relay in 4:21:65..
Korley Cunningham-Martin, Ryleigh Combs, Esperanza Hernandez and Isabel Sanchez ran the 4x800 meter relay in 10:44:55.
Mariana Mendez threw the Shotput 32’07.25.
The boy’s results were:
Miguel Duran, Gael Salinas, Anthony Sanchez and Brodie Tull placed fifth in the 4x800 meter relay.
Brodie Tull placed sixth in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:04:10.
Jorge Martinez threw the Shotput 44’05.00
Head Coach Cale Edison said he was proud of his team, but sad that time flew by.
“I am proud of both teams,” Eidson said. “I’m sad to see the season end, seems like it just started.”
