Madill Looks to Finish the Baseball Season Strong

As the baseball season winds down, Madill has seen a few bright spots of late after a rough start to their baseball campaign.

Madill topped a tough Lone Grove squad, 2-1 last Friday. The Wildcats also took two from Dickson last week with impressive wins of 16-0 and 12-2 in a solid showing.

Madill did fall in extra innings to Kingston 6-4 in 13 innings on Senior Day. Despite the loss, the Wildcats celebrated their six senior players. Madill seniors are John Woody, Caden McHatton, JD Runyan, Jackson Roberts, Cash Coble and Jesus Padron. They look to finish out their Wildcat careers with a couple of wins this week.

Madill now boasts a 4-3 district record, 6-9 overall. The Wildcats finish the regularseasonthisweekwith games against Coalgate and Plainview.
