Madill junior high XC ends season on high note

The junior high crosscountry ended their season when the team traveled to Chickasha for the Cross-Country Championship on Thursday, October 14, 2021. Head coach Cale Eidson said he was happy with the hard work and effort the team put in.

The girls ran one and a half miles, taking eighth overall. Allyson Webb scored third place running a time of 9:20.96 and Yadira Barbosa took sixth place with a time of 9:33.20. Other participants were Hadon Stuckey (11:20.23); Dakota Peters (12:17.64); Brailea Page (12:35.21); Azucell Granados (12:56.74); and Kauner Arnold (13:48.60).

The boys ran two miles and took runner up as a team. Jose Campos placed second place with a 12:15.50 time. Other participants were Jagger Rogers (13:12.07); Ryder Douglas (13:15.33); Cash Cooper (13:17.33); Triston Barnes (13:32.17); Cooper McHatton (13:50.75); Flavio Ibarra (15:18.42); and Gael Gallegos (16:25.00).

“The junior high season is over, and again, I’m proud of all the athletes,” said Eidson.
