The Lady Redskins of Coach Chad Rumer rolled to a 65-29 victory early Jan. 10 against the Rock Creek girls. The shooting woes from the previous night were gone for now. Britt Henderson was aggressive on the offensive end of the court all day for one of her best games. She combined short jumpers in the paint and the three point shot for a 21 point outburst. This was more than Rock Creek could handle and went down 65 to 29.

In the first quarter, the senior back court of Henderson and Kassie Bailey set the tempo on both ends of the court. was having problems handling the Lady Redskin defense. The score at the first buzzer, 16 to 4.

Second quarter was when Henderson took over. The score at the half, 35 to 15.

After three quarters, Kingston’s lead was 54 to 21.

Final Stats: Henderson had 21 points, Bohannon T. with nine, followed by Weeks who had seven. Wagnon and Herndon finished with six points each. McKnight and Bailey had four each. Bohannon K., Stewart, Henry, and O’Steen B. all had field goals.
