Kingston XC participates in Waurika Invitational

Kingston high school cross country has been on the road the last few meets at Velma-Alma, Byng, OBU and to finish up this past weekend at the Waurika Invitational. SeniorBrycenWardsetanew personal record at Waurika with a time of 15:54 for first place over-all out of one hundred fifty runners in the high school boys 5K run. Behind Ward, was Andrew Backenstoes with 19:45 and Dawson Holder with a 21:25 time finish on Saturday.

Freshman Emily BackenstoesledtheKingston high school girls’ team in the two-mile run at Waurika with a time of 14:55. Coming in second for the team was Tabitha Arnold at 15:24, KamryBohannoninat15:40, Hannah Rojas in at 15:50 with Elley Holder trailing her at 15:52. Closing in was Emily Bellettini at 15:58 and Paytyn Short finishing up at 16:16 this weekend
