Kingston shooting team shines at contest

    Kingston traveled to the Bethel FFA Shooting Sports Fall Contest on Saturday, August 24. Participants shot 50 trap and 50 sporting clays. The senior team competitors wereEwanWeaver,Cole Bridgeman, Ty Strecker, KingstonWilliamsandAaron Ellis. They placed 4th in the senior division with an overall score of 311.

    The junior team competitors wereCamdenSliger,Cliff Scott, Lathan Arnold, Logan Grigg and Conner Waller. The junior team placed 3rd overall in their division with an overall score of 271.

    Dillon Masterson and Kaitlyn Bruster competed individually in both trap and sporting clays. Weaver finished the day with the top senior score in both trap and sporting clays. His combined score of 90/100 earned him the High Overall Average title and a belt buckle.
