Montes
Sandra Marie Montes, 58 of Kingston, Okla., passed away peacefully on Monday, August 3, 2026 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas with her husband by her side. She was born September 24, 1968 to the late Ronald Keith and Violet Marie Flynn in Unionville, MO. She grew up in Worthington, MO until the family moved to Madill, Okla. when she was 15.
Shortly after, Sandra married her true love, Troy Montes. They were married on August 17, 1983 and had two children.
Sandra worked in the medical field, first as an EMT and then later as a physician’s nurse. She thoroughly loved being able to help others making their day just a little better. If she accomplished that, she felt she had helped make the day brighter for someone else.
Sandra was very talented, creative and gifted. When she wasn’t working, you could find her either sewing, making quilts, making soaps and lotions or whatever else suited her fancy.
Her greatest joy was her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald K. and Violet M. Flynn; both sets of grandparents; a sister who passed at birth; brother; several aunts and uncles.
She is survived by her husband, Troy; TJ Montes and spouse Jennifer, Trisha Allen and Spouse Phillip; bonus daughter, Candy Wingfield and spouse Steve; grandchildren, JaydonMontes,ChloeMontes,KellyFarmer,Landon Montes, Cadence Montes, Skyla Montes, Elam Allan, Tanner Allen, Riley Allen, Madison Allan; sister, Sharon Boswell and spouse, Daniel; numerous aunts and uncles.
