Mary Roberta Grimplin-Zoltek, 53, of Euless, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Grapevine, Texas. She was born on May 12, 1971, in Heidelberg, Germany to Harita Bea Cheadle Grimplin. Mary spent her formative years in Madill, Oklahoma, where she graduated in 1989. She furthered her education at SoutheasternOklahomaStateUniversity, earning a bachelor’s degree in accounting and political science. Throughout her career, Maryworkedasanaccountantinthe Dallas and Fort Worth metroplex area.
For the past 17 years, Mary made her home in Euless, Texas. She married Stephen Albert Zoltek on June 24, 2017, in Clearwater, Fla.. Mary was a member of White Chapel First Methodist Church in Southlake, Texas, where she found community and solace. She cherished moments by the beach and had a deep affection for her niece, Madison.
Mary was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harry and Mary Cheadle, affectionately known as Nonny and Daddy Coach.
Mary is survived by her husband, Stephen Albert Zoltek of Euless, Texas; mother, Harita Grimplin of Euless, Texas; sister, Mandy Grimplin, and Tim Mason, of Euless, Texas; her niece, Madison Mason; beloved dog, Cocoa.
Her warm presence and dedication to her family and community will be deeply missed.
Visitation was held Sunday, July 21, 2024 at the Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral service was at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 22, 2024, at the Watts Memorial Chapel in Madill, Okla. It was officiated by Joe Patterson. Interment was at the Tishomingo Cemetery in Tishomingo, Okla. Service were under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
Casket Bearers were Bret Carlson, Juston Gambel, Derek Smith, Dakota Mann, Trent Harris and Brian Rhodes.
