Linda L. Posey, age 73, of Madill, Okla., passed away Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2019, in Oklahoma City, Okla. She was born on April 29, 1946, in Oklahoma City, Okla.

Linda was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She was greatly loved by her family and everyone that came to know her. Linda adored her children and all her grandchildren.She enjoyed babysitting kids and volunteering at Heavens Mana Food Bank, as well as serving at her church, Family Christian Center. You could see her often enjoying her Diet Cokes.

Linda leaves behind her husband Eli Posey. Her mother Emma Loyd. Her children: Emma Martinez, of Madill, Okla.; David Breshears and husband, Chance Ogg, of Carrollton, Texas; Shelia Isenberg and husband, Eddie, of Milburn, Okla.; Eddie Posey and wife, Sandra, of Kingston, Okla.; Rickey Posey and wife, Barbara, of Madill, Okla.; Woody Posey and wife, Tammy, of Milburn, Okla.; and Rob Gibbs, of Norman, Okla. Her grandchildren: Megan Weemes, Hank Williams, Cruiz Martinez, Alec Breshears, Ashley Lopez, Leigh and Caleb Isenberg, Ashlny and Moriah Posey, RJ Posey, Nakia Gage, Amber Posey, Malinda Looney and JD Beasley. Her siblings: Janet Cobb and husband, Frank, of Kingston; Donna Connel, of Madill; Phil Harris, of Madill; Don Harris and wife, Becky, of Mannsville, Okla.; Robert Harris, of Howe, Texas; Wesley Harris, of Ardmore, Okla.; Ronnie Harris, of Kingston; Jerry Harris and wife, Dona, of Norman, Okla.; Sandra Trueblood, of McAlester, Okla.; David Harris, of Anahua, Texas; Jeff Harris and wife, Michelle, of Anahua, Texas, as well as numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Linda is preceded in death by her daughter: Shelly “Shae” Gibbs; father: Floyd Harris; sister: Debra Harris, and brother: Michael Harris.

Services were held Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019, at 10 a.m. at Brown’s Chapel in Madill, Okla. Clergy Brother Jack Bell officiated the service and pallbearers were: Robb Gibbs, Frank Cobb, Jerry Mowdy, Caleb Isenberg and RJ Posey. Honorary pallbearers were Eddie Isenberg, Jim Lalli and Bryan K. Williams.
