LarryRichardMoore,76,ofKingston,Okla.passedaway on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at his home in Kingston. He was born on August 23, 1948, in Madill to the late Richard Holbrook Moore and Barbara V. Jones Moore.
Larry was raised in Kingston where he graduated from Kingston High School in 1966 and was a proud member of Kingston Alumni. Larry married Dava Mae Hughes on April 2, 1982, in Ardmore, Okla. and she preceded him in death on January 25, 2021.
Larry worked for W.W. Trailers where he retired after 35 years. In his younger days, he enjoyed riding bucking bulls, competing in the rodeos and riding as a jockey. He also enjoyed playing his guitar with Richard Page and loved playing with the Arbuckle Express. As he grew older, he enjoyed playing golf and loved being with his family and friends.
He is survived by his children, Chad Moore of Kingston, Okla., Amantha “Star” Moore of Madill, Okla., Azure Moore of Kingston, Okla.; grandchildren, Ethan Moore and fiancé’ Lexi Munkis of Lone Grove, Okla., Garrett Moore of Madill, Okla.; great grandson, Cooper Moore of Lone Grove, Okla.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a family hour from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Watts Funeral Home in Kingston, Okla.
The funeral service will be Friday, January 17, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Watts Funeral Home in Kingston, Okla. Daniel Johnson will officiate the service. Interment will be at the Kingston Cemetery in Kingston, Okla. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
Casket Bearers will be Scotty McCorstin, Jason Ashbaugh, Guy Colvin, Rick Cunningham, Craig Roberts and Kenny Dinse.
