James (Jim) Bull, 81, of Kingston, Okla. passed from this life at the Carrus Hospital in Sherman, Texas after a lengthy illness. Jim was born in Pontiac, Mich. on November 25, 1942 to Harold Jack Bull and Jean Elizabeth Kennedy Bull. Jim and his siblings Jeff Bull, Janice Bull Garretson, and Judie Bull Woodruff grew up in Utica, Mich.
Jim enjoyed playing sports throughout his childhood and was a pretty good student. After three years in the Army, Jim earneddegreesatWayneStateUniversity and University of Detroit. His working career included Ford Motor Company, Page Airways, McCarthy Corporate Farms, and Clint Williams Company. He enjoyed his work and would spend much time talking about peanuts and his travels to anyone. In 1963, Jim and Oneida Beechem married in Temple, Texas and they had three children. Jim really enjoyed what he called his “Grandpa Days” of sailing and just spending time with his grandchildren. His grandchildren and great grandchildren brought him great joy. His Irish Setters were great companions.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Jean Bull; sister, Judie Bull and brother-in-law, Steve.
He is survived by his wife, Oneida; children, James and Elizabeth Bull of Lowell, Ark.; Lisa and Lyndon Turner of Cozumel, Mexico; Jordan and Christy Bull of Denton, Texas; grandchildren, Cassie, Corey and wife Misty, Jeannie, Kadyn and Rylan; great grandchildren, Brayden, Hazeley, and Emma; siblings; Jeff Bull and wife Carla, Janice Garretson; brother-in-law, Jerry Woodruff and his Irish Setters.
Jim will be missed by all loved ones.
