Ivan Harmon Roberts, 84, of Ardmore, Okla., passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at the Suites of Elmbrook in Ardmore. He was born on October 5, 1940, in Madill, Okla. to the late Elton HarmonRobertsandFrankieMarieReece Roberts.
Ivan was raised in Russett where he graduated in 1959. He worked in the oil fields and for Sies Machine Shop before going to work for Michelin where he retired after 29 years.
Ivan married Ruby Margaret Webb on May 22, 1959, and she preceded him in death on May 13, 2004. He enjoyed fishing and having a cold one.
Ivan was preceded in death by his parents; wife; one brother, Dewight Roberts; two daughters, Sheila Scruggs and Tamma Harris.
He is survived by his children, Barry Roberts and wife Renee of Fort Worth, Texas, Bobby Roberts and wife Sheril of Dickson, Okla., Michael Roberts and wife J d f A d Okl d hild t
Judy of Ardmore, Okla.; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; brother, Joe Roberts and wife Christina of Lawton, Okla.

Visitation was held Monday, April 7, 2025 at the Watts Funeral Home, inMadill, Okla. from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a family hour from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral service was Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at the Watts Memorial Chapel in Madill, Okla. at 2:00 p.m. Kirk Blancett officiated the service. Interment was at the Woodberry-Forest Cemetery in Madill, Okla. Services were under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
Casket Bearers were J.T. Woulfe, Tony Roberts, Caleb Hall, Barry Roberts, Bobby Roberts, Michael Roberts, Cory Scruggs and Mason Roberts.
Honorary Bearers were Phil Crane, Charlie Sheldon Jr., Frankie Harrison, Kaedon Allen and all his fishing buddies and coworkers at Michelin.
