Marlene loved her Lord and Savior first and foremost, and her family after that. She loved her little community church and especially her Sunday School class, where she rarely missed a service. She was a warm and caring person with a giving heart, and it made her very happy to help anyone in need. She always had a smile on her face and hugs for her family and close friends. She especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was and hugs for her family and close friends. She especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was always ready for an adventure, and would be ready to go at a moment’s notice. Her only questions were, “when do we leave?” and “do I sit in the front seat or back seat?”
Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, Helen Pearl Broaddus and Cleo J. “Skeet” Broaddus, and her older brother, Donald Guy McGuire.
She is survived by her three daughters; Kerri Harris and husband Tim; Tracee Anderson and husband Gary; and Lori Gilmore, all of Kingston, Okla. She was blessed with ten grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren.
Flowers are not necessary but are welcome, if you would prefer, donations can be made in Marlene’s honor to the Texoma Southern Baptist Church.
