Dianne Self, 80, of Madill, Okla. passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at the Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. She was born on October 9, 1944, in Sherman, Texas to the late Reginald Henry Null and Genevieve Rea Null.

Dianne was raised in Madill and graduated from Madill High School in 1962. She married Vergil “Junior” Self Jr. on June 1, 1962, and he preceded her in death on July 22, 1993. She worked at the Madill Pants Factory and for Merle Adamson Accounting before going to work for Savage Equipment until retiring after 21 years.

Dianne did volunteer work for the Madill hospital as a Pink Lady in the gift shop. She was a faithful and active member of the Nazarene Church in Madill where she served aschurchtreasureforseveralyears.Dianneenjoyedwatching tennis and boxing on tv and going shopping. Her greatest love was being with her family, her church family and her two great grandkids were the light of her life. Dianne was very proud of her two granddaughters and their accomplishments in their careers. She also enjoyed going and watching her granddaughter’s sporting events over the years.

Dianne was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister-in-law, Carrie Frank and husband Tom; brothers-inlaw, Elmo and Horace Self.

Dianne is survived by her son, Byron Self of Madill, Okla.; granddaughters, Kenna Hunter and husband Kyle of Enville, Okla., Blakelyn Self of Tishomingo, Okla.; great grandchildren, Klay and Kynlee Hunter; brother-in-law, Bill Self and wife Anita of Madill, Okla.; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friend, Phil Gray of Madill, Okla.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a family hour from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Funeral service will be Friday, February 21, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Watts Memorial Chapel in Madill, Okla. Dwight Campbell and Jerry Townley will officiate the service. Interment will be at the Oakland Cemetery in Oakland, Okla. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.

Casket Bearers will be Mark Eppler, Joe Burris, David Wood, Billy Self, Ray Cantrell, Dave Frank, Tony Wallace, Hal Morgan and Robert Self.

Honorary Bearers are Eugene Early, Dennis Self, Donnie Self, Willie Self, Sandra Wells, Dillon Miller, Martin Self, Dean Self, Tony Chaney and the Savage Equipment Family.
