An election to fill the Marshall County Low-Income Representative position on the INCA Community Services, Inc. Board of Directors will take place Friday, June 9,2023.Voteswillbeaccepted at the polling place located at the INCA Marshall County office, 18941 8th St in Oakland from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
INCA advocates and serves individuals with lowincome in our community, including Marshall County. Therefore INCA’s board must be comprised, in part, of members who represent individuals with low-income. Board members need not, themselves be low income, so long as they are nominated and elected by the county residents with low-income. Guidelines will be posted on election day and at the polling site. The person selected does not have to meet income guidelines themselves, but mustbenominatedandvoted onbythosethatdo.Theboard position term is 3 years.
