Man accused of shooting wife, two step-children on on August 22
Most Marshall County residents are aware of the crimes that rocked the county on August 22.
An out of town person called the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, alleging that Kevin Moseley confessed to killing his wife and two stepchildren during a phone conversation.
Deputies made a grim discovery when they went to the house located on Page Street. Monica Moseley, and her two teenage children had been shot and killed. The 16-year-old and 12-year-old were killed in their sleep.
Between the Marshall County, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations and the Texas Rangers’ quick actions, Moseley was arrested in Abilene and taken into custody. The suspect was extradited from Texas to Oklahoma on August 26, and faced arraignment for his charges at the Marshall County Courthouse on August 27.
The arraignment court hearing was held in a closed-off section on of the courthouse, and nobody, not even media, were allowed on the second floor.
As of August 27, Moseley pled not guilty, and his preliminary hearing is set for October 21. His bond was denied.
