Glen“Frog”EdwardHenry83,ofKingston,Okla.passed awayTuesday,December20,2022,attheAllianceHospital in Madill, Okla. He was born in Lindsay, Okla. on September 13, 1939, to the late Jessie William Henry and Neosha Mae Waterman Henry.
Frog attended the Lindsay Public School where he received his nickname whileplayinghighschoolfootball.Hemarried Eugenia Lois Reeves on November 2, 1957, in Lindsay. Frog had a life-long career at Western Oil Company.After semi-retiring he owned and operated Fisherman’s Trading Post in Caney and Soldier Creek and worked for Kingston ISD. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Kingston, and he enjoyed camping, fishing, and playing dominos.
Frog was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Dale, Harold (Bulldog) and Lonnie.
Frog is survived by his wife, Gena Henry of Kingston, Okla.; sons, Jeff Henry and wife LaWanda of Kingston, Okla., and Todd Henry and wife Lee Ann of Collinsville, Texas;twograndchildren,HeatherHenry,andMarkHenry and wife Dawn; and granddaughter, Abigail Lawrence.
Visitation was held Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Watts Funeral Home in Kingston, Okla. from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a family hour from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Funeral service was Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Watts Funeral Home in Kingston, Okla. It was officiated by Joel Thompson. Interment was at the Kingston Cemetery in Kingston, Okla. Services wereunder the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
Casket Bearers were James Myers, Stevie Nelms, Carl Thurlo, Gabe Gorrell, Hal Showalter, Dauyne Taylor, Mickey Rose, and James Miller.
Honorary Bearers were Wayne West, Lonnie Weeks and Melvin Smith.
