Mary Frances Harmon

Mary Frances Harmon, 101, passed away at Life Care Center of Pueblo, Colo. on September 21, 2026 while recovering from an injury from a fall in her home on August 22.

Mary was a retired elementary school teacher with Lawton Public Schools. After 30 Years, she retired in 1980 and moved to a new home in Kingston, Okla.

Her favorite pastimes were reading mystery novels, writing poetry, working in her flower garden and fishing. She was a devoted Episcopalian, active in church activities and devotions.

In 2009, Mary moved to her final home in Stonewall, Colo. to be near her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Jewel Hannan of Colbert, Okla.; brother, John Hannan, Jr .of Calera, Okla.; husband, John Cecil Harmon of Kingston, Okla.; daughter, Patti Frances Magby of Pueblo, Colo.

She is survived by her son, John Michael Harmon of Stonewall, Colo., James Michael McQueen of Pueblo, Colo., KristinMagbyofPuebloWest,Colo.,JohnChaneyHarmon of Longmont, Colo., Mark Todd Harmon of Panhandle, Texas; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Durant, OKkla. next to her husband. Date is pending. There will be a private service for her family at the gravesite.
