Although they didn’t have any medalists, the Madill Madill School wrestlers had several strong performances in the Junior High State Championships last weekend.
Leading that charge was Adrian Colescott, who tallied five victories in seven matches and came up just shyofplacinginthe84-pound division.
Rodrigo Cruces added a 4-2 overall record at 200 pounds with Bella Temple notching a 3-2 mark at 113 pounds along with Brayden Valles at 132.
Four Wildcats added 2-2 records including Brissa Reyes at 128 pounds, Valaria Barrientos in the 138-pound division, Dago Gonzalez at heavyweight and Jacob Valles at 161 pounds.
The Madill club added eight other grapplers that tallied one win on the weekend. Those were Hannah Pruitt, Yaretzy Diaz, Sophia Alexander, Addyson Westbrook, Gunner Cain, Damien Trejo, Anola Szulc as well as Areli Trevino.
