Moss
Clifton L. Moss, 71, of Madill, Okla., passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025 in Madill. He was born on May 4, 1954 in Durant, Okla., to the late Hoyt Wayne Moss and Nora Leaoma Stephens Moss.
Clifton was raised in Enos, Okla., and graduated from Kingston High School in 1972. He later joined the U.S. Army, where he served for four years. Clifton married Betty Sue Nabors on February 7, 1975, in Kingston, Okla., and made Madill their home. He worked for several years for Atlas Roofing in Ardmore, Okla. as a lab tech.
Clifton attended the Assembly of God Church in Madill and he enjoyed fishing and hunting, but most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
Clifton is survived by his wife, Betty Moss of Madill, Okla.; daughter, Amy Radcliffe and husband Matthew of Chandler, Okla.; sister, Clytha Posey of Durant, Okla.; brother, Clifford Moss and wife Shelia of Kingston, Okla.; grandchildren, Tate Wesley Radcliffe and wife Taygen, Ian Moss Radcliffe and Allison Joy Radcliffe.
Visitation was Monday, December 29, 2025, at Watts Funeral Home in Madill from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., with family hour from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at the Watts Memorial Chapel. Weldon Wright and Jeff Manuel officiated the service. Interment was at the Woodberry-Forest Cemetery in Madill, Okla. Services were under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla.
Casket bearers were Matthew Radcliffe, Tate Radcliffe, Ian Radcliffe, Tim Hammon, Justin Orr and Jared Moss.
