Shannon Lee Bryan, 57, of Ardmore, Okla passed away on July 26, 2025 at the Mercy Hospital in Ardmore. She was born in Hobbs, NM on April, 28, 1968 to Craig Foster O’Neal and Donia Jean (Loper). Shannon moved to Mannsville, Okla. in 1973 at the age of five. She attended Mannsville Elementary until the 8th grade, attending Ardmore Christian until her senior year, graduating from Dickson High in 1987.
From an early age she was called to musicministrywheresheservedherwhole life. In 1988, she married Tony Bryan and together they welcomed their only daughter Courtney in 1989. At the time of her death, Shannon was a member of the Baum Assembly of God where she was the music leader. Her hobbies included traveling and of course, singing. Her favorite trips were those she took with her grandchildren Dannie, Bransen and Bradie. She loved life and every room was brighter with her in it.
Shannon was preceded in death by her father, Craig; grandparents, Charles and Joy O’Neal of Hobbs, NM and Bob and Velma Loper of Mannsville, Okla.
She is survived by her husband, Tony R. Bryan of Ardmore, Okla.; daughter, Courtney Butler and husband Greg of Madill, Okla.; mother, Donia Farris of Ardmore; nephews, Tanner and Trinity O’Neal of Ardmore, Connor and Mickayla O’Neal of Ardmore; brother, Ian and Wife Kari O’Neal of Lone Grove, Okla.; sister-in-law, Shelly and Ronnie Morris of Ardmore; extended sisters, Robin Waters of Durant, Okla., Melissa and Wink Craddock of Gainesville, Texas; grandkids, Dannie, Bransen, and Bradie Butler of Madill.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla., family hour will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on August 1, 2025 at the First Baptist Church in Madill at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at the Lone Cedar Cemetery in Mannsville.
Casket Bearers will be Ian O’Neal, Connor O’Neal, Tanner O’Neal, Coy Goates, Ronnie Morris and Jody Cornelison.
Honorary Casket Bearers are Greg Butler, Ernie Mays, Steve Elkins, Ronnie Peoples, Bobby Roberts and Tony Hawkins.
