Council Bluffs, Iowa - Lucas Franklin from Coalgate, OKandmemberoftheMadill Takedown Club and Team Oklahoma Elite, dominated all of his national folkstyle wrestlingcompetitors.Young Franklin went undefeated in the Heavyweight 15U category on the weekend of March 28-30, 2025. Not only did he breeze his way to the title of All American, he brought home a massive trophy and gold medal.
Franklin’s coaches, at the Madill Takedown Club, are beyond thrilled with his performance.
According to one of his coaches here in Madill, Rowdy Votaw, “We are extremely fortunate to have Lucas and his brother Bodie in the Madill Takedown Club! He went undefeated at National Duals, and that is incredible at his age. He showed an amazing amount of composure.”

Could be. Franklin got to meetHendrickson justbefore his recent NCAA heavyweight win over Gable Stevenson this last March. And like Hendrickson, Franklin showsimmensehumilityand grace after such a win.
