TheLadiesAuxiliaryBake, Craft and Rummage sale is here this Saturday, March 29, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will be held at the Texoma Community Center at 10978 Parkview Drive in Kingston.
Bring your family and friends to help us make this a successful fundraiser for our Volunteer Firefighters.
The last meeting was March 17, 2025. The meeting was called to order at 1:30 p.m. with 23 members present.
Members recited the Pledge of Allengence and welcomed our new guest Debbie Roger's.
The guest speaker for March was Marcia McPeters who started the Kingston Senior Center in June of 2022. The center is totally self sufficient and receive no other funding then donations.
They currently have 19 members and are looking for more. Their center is open to anyone in Marshall County.
Brenda thanked everyone who participated in the roadside cleanup. A big thank you to the ones who brought breakfast following the cleanup. The next Ladies Auxiliary meeting will be held Monday April 21, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. with a fellowship at 1 p.m. prior to the meeting.
The exercise/stretching classes are every Monday andWednesdayat10:00a.m. Card games are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 12:00 p.m.
For anyone needing to rent the Texoma Community Center building for a party or family gathering place contact Judy Jeffries at 580-684-4636. Calls are monitored twice a week so please allow plenty of time for your event.
The cost is $75 per day and can only be rented by members of the Fire District. The building capacity is 158.
